Mark Stewart is the Campus Sustainability Coordinator at the University of Maryland. His work focuses on creating a carbon neutral and resource efficient campus while enhancing opportunities for all students to learn how they can help create a more sustainable society. Marybeth Shea is a lecturer in the Professional Writing program in the English Department at University of Maryland and also teaches technical writing and creative nonfiction for the USDA Graduate School and serves as a consultant for NASA, FDA, the World Bank, the Global Environment Facility, the International Monetary Fund, etc. Her long-term relationship with UMD includes institutional development at the Center for Global Change and publications work at the School of Public Policy.
