J. Kirk Atkinson is an Assistant Professor - information Systems at Western Kentucky University. He holds an Ed.D.in Adult and Technology Education from Ball State University, an M.B.A. from Murray State University, and a B.S. in Information Systems from Western Kentucky University. He possesses over 20 years of experience in the private sector performing a variety of information technology roles. He currently teaches undergraduate courses in principles of management information systems, computer systems applications, and project management and strategy. MORE
Phillip D. Coleman is an Assistant Professor - Information Systems at Western Kentucky University. He holds an Ed.D. in Technology Management from Ball State University, an M.S. in Management Technology from Murray State University, and a B.S. in Public Management from Austin Peay State University. Among his many interests, he served on a governor-appointed task force charged with providing high-speed Internet access to all Kentucky residents. He currently teaches Principles of Management Information Systems, Online Training Foundations, Wireless Networking and Server Administration. Phillip retired from the military in 1992 as a Chief Warrant Officer. MORE
