About the Author
Viniece is a graduate student and research assistant at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). She has been involved in a numerous sustainability initiatives that promote education and outreach. Viniece is also a Southeastern Fellow of the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) and alumni of the Youth Encounter to Sustainability (YES) course in Switzerland where she reflects on her experiences in this article.
