The Journal of Sustainability Education (JSE) serves as a forum for academics and practitioners to share, critique, and promote research, practices, and initiatives that foster the integration of economic, ecological, and social-cultural dimensions of sustainability within formal and non-formal educational contexts.
Kimberley is a Ph.D. student in Prescott College’s sustainability education program. Her doctoral research seeks to situate conservation biology of pollinators within the geopolitical context of Hawai’i. Professionally, she has taught higher education biology, developed outdoor science courses for adolescents, and worked as a wildlife biologist for many projects. Kimberley has been a beekeeper and honey bee educator for over 8 years. Currently, she makes her home on the Big Island of Hawai’i. MORE
Evan Loney is a professional photographer in Hawai'i. He has worked on the set of Hawai'i 5-0 and LOST, studied under the best cinematographers in the business, and has done commercial work for companies such as San Lorenzo Bikinis, Jim Beam, and Casio. His films have played at the Hawai'i International Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, and both the San Francisco and Los Angelos Asian Pacific Film Festivals. MORE
