Jennie Norton is a dietetic intern with Central Washington University. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition from Central Washington University and Diploma of Essential Professional Baking and Pastry Skills from the International Culinary Center. Her background includes small business and grocery retail management, commercial baking and pastry production, and retail banking. MORE
Dr. Becky Pearson earned her PhD in Health Science from the University of Arkansas and has been a faculty member in the Public Health Program at Central Washington University since 2008. Her primary research and teaching focus involves food and nutrition capacity, at both individual and societal levels. Increasingly, she emphasizes critical literacy, sustainability concepts, and practical approaches for students and others wishing to lower their environmental impact. Dr. Pearson established CWU’s Campus Community Garden in 2013 and continues to facilitate its development as a learning and community space for all. MORE
Dr. David Gee has been a faculty member in the Food Science and Nutrition Program at Central Washington University since 1981. His primary research area is in nutritional epidemiology and is active in utilizing the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). He received his PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of California at Davis. MORE
