Matthew Groshek is a Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design, in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. He is also a Faculty Fellow + Project Manager for the People of Rural Wisconsin project at the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS). His design research is centered on rural issues, animal shelters, environmental centers, botanical gardens, nature centers and environmental advocacy groups. Matt is involved in community place-making initiatives, sustainability mapping and advocacy. He lives in rural Wisconsin on his family farm with his partner Nick. He enjoys raising food, keeping bees and is launching a bread CSA; Wild Rise Artisan Breads this summer.
Groshek also serves as a consultant in experience, information and communication design for nature and environmental centers, arboretums and museums, and animal welfare sites. He is the principal of of a design firm; Education Design Link (EDL). MORE
