The Journal of Sustainability Education (JSE) serves as a forum for academics and practitioners to share, critique, and promote research, practices, and initiatives that foster the integration of economic, ecological, and social-cultural dimensions of sustainability within formal and non-formal educational contexts.
Dr. Medrick has been employed by Prescott College since 1996 and has served as chair of the master’s (MAP) degree in Adventure Education and as one of the founders and longtime chair of the PhD Program in Sustainabiity Education. He has a B.A. from Dartmouth College in philosophy and literature and an Ed.D. from the University of Northern Colorado in Humanistic Psychology and Experiential Education. He is currently Executive Director of Denver-based Outdoor Leadership Training Seminars (OLTS) and has been a mountain guide (Tetons), ski instructor, river outfitter, and Outward Bound instructor and director. He seeks to integrate diverse perspectives into the design of innovative educational programs at all levels both public and private. MORE
