Peggy Riehl graduated from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and received her masters from the University of Toledo. She taught second grade for 7 years, fifth grade for 9 years and middle school science for one year before accepting her current position as the Teacher Consultant for the Diocese of Toledo. She believes getting kids involved in service learning is an engaging way to create life-long conservationists and faithful stewards. MORE
Nicole Tuttle is a Research Scientist at the University of Toledo. She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and currently conducts research on preK-3rd science teacher professional development with the NURTURES program. Charlene M. Czerniak is a Distinguished University Professor at the University of Toledo where she teaches classes in grant writing, elementary science education, and science teacher leadership. Her publications have appeared in the Journal of Science Teacher Education, Journal of Research in Science Teaching, School Science and Mathematics, Science Scope, and Science and Children. Professor Czerniak is co-author of a textbook published by Lawrence Erlbaum and Associates on project based science teaching. MORE
Kevin Czajkowski is a Professor at the University of Toledo with diverse research interests that revolve around geospatial technologies. He engages K-12 teachers and students through the SATELLITES Program, which utilizes surface temperature observations through GLOBE, a worldwide hands-on, primary and secondary school-based science and education program.
